Saturday flooding a night mare in Lagos

It was indeed a cause for alarm on Saturday September 16 2023 when the rainfall which began in the wee hours of the morning in Lagos, and in all of its suburbs as well some parts of the country like Ogun State Edo State and Delta state, reached a climax following consequential flooding in many parts of these states.

TRIPLENET correspondents who embarked on a Metro Watch in parts of these states feedbacks massive flooding in some of these parts




Around the OjO trade fair Complex area of Lagos, the flooiding visibly made the roads and adjourning routes inaccessible by motorists.

Whereas, some individuals adopted and utitlised the flood to make brisk business for the day.

They ferried interested commuters to the other end of the road, conveying then on their backs for a fare
