Construction work begins at the Agbara-Lusada-Ota road in Ogun State weeks after Triplenet reported stalled progress

Construction work has now commenced at the Agbara-Lusada-Ota routes in Ogun State which location is home to some of the biggest industries in Nigeria.

The road construction commences from Agbara to Lusada and Atan.

Igbesa, which is a community close to Lusada, prides itself as hosting some of the biggest industries in Niheria.

The place is home to Companies like Viju Milk Nestle, Unilever, . lacasera, Eko supreme, Lagos star, and more surprising the China Free Trade Zone to mention but few of these companies.

However, the poor condition of the roads leading to these very lucrative ventures, had left both road users, visitors and would-be investors, dismayed .

The situation was worse during the rainy season, as many vehicles got stacked in the muddy sand, while okada riders and pedestrians counted their losses with repeated falls in the mud.

During the harmattan season, residents of the area also bemoaned the heavy dusty outlook of their homes. Shops, and entire wares which are all generously painted by the dust

Several stakeholders have made repeated and renewed calls on government to come to the rescue and rehabilitate the roads.

Recall that there had also been several demonstrations by residents with one of the most popular of such demonstration tagged "Fix Ota roads""

A re-construction of the dilapidated roads had commenced over three years ago but was stopped abruptly while the construction company had moved away construction tools from the site.

Residents of these area were worried with the set back as they had heaved huge sighs of relief at the thoughts of reprieve finally coming their way.

Triplenet Metro had in a recent report, taken a 2-hour Metro watch around the area to review the state of the road.

Some road users who spoke with Triplenet Metro, had cried out for help and called on government to come to their rescue and facilitate reconstruction of the roads.

The good news is that a reconstruction of the roads have now commenced and the pictures are attached herewith.
