Security Situation Room Condemns the Gruesome Killings of 16 Persons in Uromi .

The Security Situation Room Condemns the jungle justice meted out to 16 travellers on the guise of an allegation that they are kidnappers with out same being investigated by the Police and with out recourse to the due process of Law .

The Security Situation Room States that it is in every one's interest for the due process of the Law be followed in the affairs of Society to protect all irrespective of tribe , religion , political affiliation and creed .

The Security Situation Room States that the Rule of Law guarantees certainty of outcomes of events in a relative way , so that there will not be any arbitrariness.

The Security Situation Room commiserates with family of the deceased and calls for justice to take its cause in this matter .

In the same vein , the Security Situation Rooms calls on the Federal Government and the Edo State Government to look into the prevalent cases of kidnapping in the Area the incidence occured .

The Security Situation Room also calls on the Authorities to see through pending cases of those apprehended to instil confidence in the Citizens that any criminal handed over to the Police Authorities will be treated accordingly in line with the Law.
