The Nigerian Bar Association,Benin Branch has sent a well worded congratulatory Message to the New Chief Judge of Edo State -My Lord , the Hon Justice D.I. Okungbowa .A Statement issued in Benin City, by the Publicity Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, Benin Branch, quoted the Chairman of Branch-Nosa Edo-Osagie as stating thus

"On behalf of the entire members of the Nigerian Bar Association, Benin Branch, the Dream Team led by my good self Chief Nosa Francis Edo-Osagie wishes to specially congratulate my Lord, *Hon* . *Justice* *Daniel Iyobosa Okungbowa* , on his much expected and widely celebrated appointment as the Honourable Chief Judge of Edo State yesterday,19th day of May, 2023. This appointment is a demonstration of My Lord's meritorious Service to the Legal Profession and the State in General.We have taken cognisance of My Lord's impeccable and distinctive robust Long Service to the Justice Delivery System. My Lord's stready rise to the top echelon of the Edo State Judiciary is encapsulated by Lord's bold , articulate, thorough, fearless ,but fair determination of issues as a High Court Judge , which has given sanity to society in the midst of affront on the Rule of Law. *A* *quintessential* *Jurist* *per* *excellence* .
