Pius Idemudia Oiwoh, felicitates Makurdi and Minna branches on smooth polls.

It is with great joy and delight that I receive the news of the peaceful process the elections into the various offices in Makurdi and Minna branches of the Nigerian Bar Association were carried out, devoid of rancour and bitterness. Indeed the outcome and its acceptance is a reflection of the desire of all the contestants into the various offices to serve.

I particularly congratulate the Chairman elect, Terna J. Yaji, and Members of his team of the Makurdi branch and Isyaku Barau of Minna branch and his team, while urging that they extend the olive branches to the other contestants who did not make it. In the same manner, I urge those who did not make it to rally round to support the Terna J. Yaji led administration and Isyaku Barau administration as they lead their branches for the next two years, sustaining the legacies of their predecessors who have guaranteed the unity of the Branch.

My commendation also goes to the Electoral Committee of both branches, and the outgoing branch administrations for midwifing the electoral process. My greatest respect for the entire members of both branches for the maturity, peace and decorum exhibited to have a brand new exco on board.

To my Chairmen Elect, as we await your inauguration, may God continue to strengthen the unity and love which your respective branches need to attain a new and enviable height, your emergence being divinely ordained.

Once again, congratulations, ad multos annos.

Pius Idemudia Oiwoh
Immediate past Chairman, Benin Branch.
