*NBA PAYS HER LAST RESPECTS TO LATE SUNDAY NNABUIKE ONAH.*

On the 5th day of August 2020, the news of the demise of Sunday Nnabuike Onah filtered in, throwing the Enugu Branch of the NBA and the entire Nigerian Bar Association into mourning.
Our colleague, Late Sunday Nnabuike Onah was laid to rest today.

The President of the Nigerian Bar Association - Mr. Olumide Akpata in his remarks at the funeral, said thus "I was quite disconcerted by the news of Mr. Onah's passing, not because I knew him personally, but because of the valuable contributions he made to the legal profession and the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) during his lifetime. My deepest sympathies are with the NBA Enugu Branch, and indeed, the entire NBA, for the passing unto glory of a vibrant and dedicated member/colleague".

The President stated that he has instructed that the death benefits accruing to his family from the NBA would be processed immediately and paid to his family within the next one week.

The Nigerian Bar Association expresses her deepest condolences to Mrs. Chibuzor Onah, (who is also our colleague) and the entire Onah family.
