I want to use this medium to congratulate the good people of Edo state for courageously exercising their franchise without intimidation by any means or from anybody. Indeed, we have proven that we are true Democrats and no one can dictate for us as a people.

The peaceful, fair, free, credible, and well-conducted Edo State Governorship Election 2020 stands as a litmus test for the future of our democracy and the future of electioneering process in Nigeria. We stood our ground against godfatherism, nepotism and even the doomsday prophecies. It is usually said that the will of the people is the fons et origo of any legitimate government and the good people of Edo state were resolved to reflect this natural principle in the 19 September, 2020 Edo State Governorship Election.

Furthermore, I want to specially congratulate the Governor re-elect. His excellency, Governor Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki The Executive Governor of Edo State, and his Deputy His Excellency Comrade Philip Shaibu. Indeed, you have proven your worth once again. You are a framework of wisdom and strength, your good works and the undeniable development you have brought to Edo State in the last Four (4) years have given you another chance to do more. Just like they say “the reward for good work is more work”. You have given us the believe and motivation that a common man can become a great leader without fear or Favour in Edo State and in Nigeria at large.
God will continue to bless you and guide you in the next four (4) years.
