SPECIAL SESSION OF THE SUPREME COURT FOR THE CONFERMENT OF THE RANK OF SENIOR ADVOCATE OF NIGERIA.

On the 14th day of December 2020, the Supreme Court held its new Legal Year celebration and special session for the conferment of the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria.

Please find attached, the address of the NBA President, Olumide Akpata, at the said event. 

In his address, the NBA President charged the Supreme Court to do better in improving the Judiciary and in reducing delays in justice administration and to reconsider some of the criteria for conferment of the SAN rank.

He also asked the newly conferred SANs, and indeed all members of the Inner Bar, to live up to the responsibilities that come with the privilege of the rank.
