NBA-SBL ANNUAL CONFERENCE TO HOLD JULY 14--15

The Nigerian Bar Association Section of Business Law (NBA-SBL) under the leadership of Mr. Ayuli Jemide is pleased to announce that the 15th edition of its Annual Business Law Conference (the 'SBL Annual Conference") will hold on the 14th and 15th of July 2021.

It is with immense pleasute that we are able to unveil at this time. the Theme for the 2021 SBL Annual Conference. which is 'Re-tooling Businesses for Change: Leveraging the Technology Explosion".

Additionally, given the current realities associated with the on-going Covid-19 Pandemic. the Conference Planning Committee (the “Committee") led by Mr. Adeleke Alex-Adedipe ('Chairman') and Ms. Stella Duru ('Vice-Chairman'), have elected to hold a hybrid conference which will combine both physical and virtual features for better reach whilst ensuring that all participants are kept safe.

The two-day event will be a combination of plenary sessions, breakout sessions. social and networking activities for all our guests participating virtually or in person. Specifically.

The SBL Annual Conference will focus on emerging innovations and technological changes around the globe and how businesses can capitalize on these innovations to remain relevant and fit for purpose. With a convergence of local and international speakers/resource persons. the NBA-SBL intends to use its platform and particularly this SBL Annual Conference. to engender conversations that will assist law firms and other businesses identify best practices in order to thrive post COVlD-19.

At NBA-SBL. we have come to this realization that technological innovation and disruption create new and improved processes for doing business not just in Nigeria but globally.
