NBA SLP 2023 CONFAB: Section inaugurates members of planning committee

INAUGURATION OF MEMBERS OF NIGERIAN BAR ASSOCIATION SECTION ON LEGAL PRACTICE 2023 CONFERENCE PLANNING COMMITTEE

At the inaugural meeting of the NBA Section on Legal Practice ("NBA-SLP") 2023 Conference Planning Committee held on Friday, 19th of May, 2023, members of the committee were inaugurated to kick the ball rolling in planning the 2023 NBA-SLP Conference billed to take place between 16th and 19th July, 2023 in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Recall that Chief Ferdinand Orbih KSG SAN FCArb., Chairman NBA-SLP had on 8th of May, 2023 vide a notice appointed members of the committee, headed by Mr. Paul Harris Ogbole, SAN.

The committee was charged with the responsibility of delivering a world-class conference for members of the Bar.

Achieving this mandate formed the crux of the inaugural meeting as critical issues regarding same were discussed.

Prior to the meeting, on the 18th of May, 2023, the committee Chairman flanked by the Alternate Chairman Mr. Tonye J Krukrubo paid a courtesy visit to the President of the Nigeria Bar Association; Mr. Y.C. Maikyau, SAN, OON, wherein the Chairman intimated the President of the activities lined up for the conference and preparations in place to deliver a successful event.

At the meeting, the NBA President granted the request by the Chairman to make use of the NBA National Secretariat for the conference.

The NBA president pledged his unwavering support for the committee.
