Shola Abiloye FCIArb mourns Late John Olusegun Odubela, SAN:

The news of the death of Mr. John Olusegun Odubela, SAN was as shocking as it is painful. Shocking because it was just sudden and unexpected; painful because for those who know him, he was a gentleman, very humble, approachable and he treated everyone with respect and professionalism.

Segun Odubela, SAN alongside his firm Ricky Tarfa & Co where he was Managing Partner strongly supported the NBA Lagos Branch. As a member of the Chukwuka Ikwuazom SAN led Executive Committee of the branch between 2017 and 2019, I had a front seat view of the Learned Silk’s deep passion for the branch and its events.

In the past two days, many members of our dear branch and even beyond the branch have come out to describe this great man with the many positive experiences they had with him. He was an outstanding gentleman, a dedicated bar man and a consummate professional.

To his family, friends, Ricky Tarfa & Co., and the Premier Bar, I pray the Almighty God grant us all the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
