JUSUN NATIONWIDE STRIKE: NBA PRESIDENT PROVIDES UPDATE, DIRECTS ALL CHAIRMEN OF NBA BRANCHES ON NEXT STEPS

As the JUSUN strike action continues, please find attached, an update from the President of the NBA - Mr. Olumide Akpata, regarding steps that have been taken so far towards a resolution of the lingering crisis, and the directive to the Chairpersons of the various branches of the NBA, on how they should engage on this matter going forward.

In effect, the NBA President has requested the Chairmen of all the branches of the NBA to effectively mobilise their members with effect from Monday 19th April 2021, and every Monday thereafter to visit the Governor of their respective States at the Government House, until the Governors comply with the demand for financial autonomy of the Judiciary.
