Olumide Akpata shall Stand before Kings ,Princes and Governments However Powerful and Speak Truth to Power .

The Immediate Past Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association Benin Branch-the Lion Bar,Prince Collins Benson Ogiegbaen A.I.C.M.C Endorses Olumide Akpata for the Presidency of NBA ,in a Statement in Benin City on Wednesday the 8th of July,2020 ,where he stated thus :

"OLUMIDE AKPATA represents ,for a majority of us ,a Leader for a New Generation of Lawyers.
As President of the Nigerian Bar Association, OLUMIDE AKPATA shall lead the way To a New Beginning for our Treasurable Association,Under his leadership this Bar shall find its voice Again,after all, this Bar has always been in the Vanguard of the People's movement and the other Associations and the entire country look up to us for Leadership.

I therefore find no difficulty in unreservedly endorsing OLUMIDE AKPATA as the 30th president of the NIGERIAN BAR ASSOCIATION.

OLUMIDE AKPATA shall stand before Kings,Princes and Governments, however Powerful and Speak Truth to Power in the Name of this Bar and in the finest Tradition of the Ancestors of our Great Association,indeed ,OLUMIDE AKPATA shall employ the Principle of COLLECTIVE BARGAINING in resolving the Myriads of issues that may arise between the Bar and the Government or its various agencies but will not hesitate to resort to Class action if the BAR authorizes it.

As The Alternate Chairman of the 2019 Annual General Conference (AGC) of our Great Association ,OLUMIDE AKPATA Executed a Conference amidst pomp and pageantry,still referred to by our members as a Watershed.OLU is a Doer ,not just a Talker."
