TESTIMONIAL FROM AMARACHI ERUCHALU, FIRST-CLASS LAW SCHOOL GRADUATE AND WINNER OF THE JOYCE ODUAH PRE-BAR TUTORIALS AND MOCK EXAMS

I had the privilege of first encountering Madam Joyce during her visit to my campus in Portharcourt for a Career Development Discussion. She delivered a powerful speech to all the students, emphasizing the importance of seizing the opportunities available to us in law school and striving for academic excellence through commitment and hard work. Additionally, she highlighted the significance of maintaining good health and getting sufficient rest in order to succeed in the Bar finals. She also enlightened us about the various non-litigation areas of law that qualified legal practitioners can explore to enhance their career paths.

I was truly impressed by Madam Joyce's demeanour and charisma; little did I know that our paths would cross again in the near future. Soon after, I came across a broadcast about a Pre-Bar preparatory class and Mock Examination organized by the esteemed Joyce & Okey Oduah LP and Edupal Institute.

The dedication and effort demonstrated by the senior colleagues in ensuring our understanding of challenging subjects were commendable. The most remarkable aspect of this class was that it was provided to us free of charge, yet we received a wealth of knowledge and encouragement. Following the class, a rigorous MCQ Mock test was conducted on October 29th, 2023, and I was honoured to emerge as one of the top winners. As a reward, I was promised a complete set of wig and gowns, among other accolades.

I had the opportunity to visit the Lagos branch of Joyce & Okey Oduah LP, where I received a warm welcome. I am delighted to report that I received the promised prize and had the pleasure of meeting Madam Joyce in person, as well as Barr Queen. Meeting Madam Joyce exceeded all my expectations; she exudes grace and kindness and serves as a remarkable role model. It was a truly thrilling experience to have the opportunity to connect with such an extraordinary individual. We shared prayers and exchanged biblical wisdom, and I received words of encouragement. We also captured the moment with photographs.

Madam Joyce is a promise keeper. She promised honouring us with her promise at the Call to Bar for the three days, and she did. I have learnt a lot from her.
