Pius Oiwoh Candidate for NBA 2nd Vice President Congratulates NBA Barnawa Branch for a successful Law Week

It is with immense pride and admiration that I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Chairman, Mr. Vitus Ewuzie, and the entire NBA Barnawa Branch for the resounding success of their Annual Law Week 2024. Your exemplary leadership and dedication have once again shone through, culminating in an event that has become the talk of the legal community nationwide.

The planning committee's meticulous efforts have not gone unnoticed; indeed, you have etched your names in the annals of our profession's history. Drawing participants from across the country, Law Week stands as a testament to the vibrancy and unity of our Bar.

As reports pour in from Barnawa, Kaduna, Unity Branch Abuja, Lagos, Ungogo, Effurun, Bwari, and numerous other branches that have hosted successful law weeks, it is abundantly clear that the Nigerian Bar Association is blessed with visionary leaders capable of steering our noble profession towards greater heights.

In the same spirit of celebration, I am thrilled to acknowledge the peaceful and successful election at the NBA Onitsha Branch, which has ushered in Mr. Afam Obi as the new Chairman. The branch's display of courage and harmony—which I personally witnessed during a recent visit to their weekly fitness exercise—is truly commendable.

To Mr. Obi and his newly elected team, I offer both congratulations and encouragement. May you build upon the solid foundation laid by your predecessors, fostering inclusivity and driving progress to elevate the Onitsha Branch to unprecedented levels of excellence.

As we witness these milestones across our branches, it reaffirms my belief in the transformative power of committed leadership within the NBA. Together, we are not just changing narratives; we are crafting a legacy of professionalism, unity, and unwavering dedication to the rule of law.

Mr. Afam Obi, as you embark on your tenure as Chairman of the Onitsha Branch, may your path be illuminated by wisdom, your decisions guided by fairness, and your achievements marked by distinction. I have every confidence that, under your stewardship, the branch will flourish.

Let us continue to inspire and support one another, for in our collective success lies the true strength of the Nigerian Bar Association.
