NBA President Lays Foundation for NBA Ikare Akoko Branch Bar House

In a major infrastructural milestone, the President of the NBA, Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, today 26th February 2025, has officially laid the foundation for the building of the NBA Ikare Akoko Branch Bar House.

The groundbreaking ceremony, held at Ikare Akoko, Ondo State, marks a significant step in enhancing legal practice and providing a conducive environment for lawyers within the branch.

In his remarks, Mazi Osigwe lauded the leadership and members of the Ikare Akoko Branch for their unwavering commitment to the legal profession and their drive to establish a befitting Bar House. He emphasized that the project is not merely a physical structure but a legacy that will promote continuous professional development, strengthen the Bar’s unity, and improve legal service delivery.

“This Bar House will serve as a rallying point for legal practitioners in this branch. It will provide an enabling space for learning, mentorship, and collaboration, ensuring that lawyers here can thrive in their profession. I commend the leadership of the branch for taking this bold initiative,” Mazi Afam Osigwe started

The event witnessed the presence of senior members of the Bar, judicial officers, legal practitioners, and other dignitaries who applauded the move as a critical step toward improving legal practice in the region.

The NBA Ikare Akoko Branch Bar House, once completed, is expected to provide office spaces, and other essential amenities aimed at enhancing the work environment for lawyers in the branch.
