Dr. Rapulu Nduka salutes Nigerian Female Lawyers on International Womens Day

Today, on International Women’s Day, I celebrate the strength, resilience, and invaluable contributions of women across Nigeria, particularly the distinguished women of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).

From the courtrooms to boardrooms, from advocacy to governance, Nigerian women have continued to break barriers, shatter ceilings, and redefine excellence in all spheres of life. The women of the NBA stand as shining examples of courage, integrity, and dedication, playing pivotal roles in the pursuit of justice, the promotion of human rights, and the building of a sane and progressive society.

I salute their unwavering commitment to upholding the rule of law, championing gender equality, and shaping a better future for generations to come. Their voices and actions inspire hope, drive change, and reinforce the principles of fairness and justice upon which our nation stands.

As we commemorate this day, let us renew our collective commitment to empowering and supporting women, ensuring equal opportunities, and dismantling all forms of discrimination and bias. The journey continues, but with every step, women are not just breaking ceilings—they are building new, limitless horizons.

Happy International Women’s Day!

Dr. Rapulu Nduka
Past National Publicity Secretary,
Nigerian Bar Association
