University of Maiduguri Alumni Association Sets Agenda for Revitalization

The Board of Trustees (BOT) of the University of Maiduguri Alumni Association has announced a series of resolutions aimed at revitalizing and repositioning the association for enhanced relevance and impact.

In a statement issued by its Chairman, Chief Joe-Kyari Gadzama, SAN on 5th March, 2025, after a tripartite meeting with the National Caretaker Committee and the university authorities, the BOT outlined several key decisions, including the review of the association's constitution, the election of new national executives, and the hosting of an annual general meeting.

The association also plans to collaborate with the university authorities to celebrate the institution's 50th anniversary, scheduled for November 10, 2025.

The BOT expressed appreciation for the National Caretaker Committee's dedication and visionary approach, as well as the university authorities' support and cooperation.

With these resolutions, the University of Maiduguri Alumni Association is poised for a new era of growth, collaboration, and service to its members and the university community.
