NBA-SBL Kicks Off 2nd National Conference on Construction and Infrastructure Projects

As a prelude to the 2nd National Conference on Construction and Infrastructure Projects, a distinguished delegation from the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Business Law (NBA-SBL) paid a courtesy visit to the Asagba of Asaba, His Royal Majesty, Asagba (Prof.) Epiphany Chigbogwu Azinge, SAN, FNIALS.

The conference, themed “_Making Construction and Infrastructure Projects Work Better in Nigeria,_” was held from Monday, 24th March 2025, to Tuesday, 25th March 2025, in Asaba, Delta State.

Leading the NBA-SBL delegation were Chike Onyemenam, SAN, Leader of the Asaba Bar; Andrew Osemedia Odum, SAN, Chairman of the NBA- SBL Construction, Projects, and Infrastructure Committee and Mrs. Ozofu Latunde-Ogiemudia, Chairperson of the NBA Section on Business Law. Members of the delegation included Chief Emeka Ngige, SAN, Chief Emeka Ozoani, SAN Chief Emeka Obegolu, SAN, Chair of the NBA Annual General Conference Planning Committee (AGCPC), Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya (Mrs. B), Immediate Past Chair of the AGCPC, Fatima Mohammed, Esther Jimoh, Vice- Chair, Lagos Branch and George Akpabio; alongside other eminent members of the Association.

During the visit, which marked the official commencement of the conference activities, the Asagba of Asaba, warmly welcomed the delegation. As a gesture of hospitality and goodwill, His Royal Majesty offered kola and drinks to the visitors and offered prayers for the success of the conference.

A significant highlight of the visit was the Asagba's confirmation of his attendance at the conference, where he pledged to deliver a goodwill message.

The visit concluded with a photography session. With this royal blessing, the 2nd National Conference on Construction and Infrastructure Projects commenced on a high note.
