MIDWEST Bar Forum congratulates Olorogun Albert Akpomudje,SAN for emerging as Vice Chairman of the Body of Benchers

The immediate past Chief Justice of Nigeria, Honorable Justice Oluwakayode Ariwoola and Olorogun Albert Akpomudje,SAN have emerged as Chairman and Vice Chairman respectively of the Body of Benchers.

The MWBF is confident that His Lordship, the immediate past CJN and Olorogun Albert Akpomudje,SAN who is a past Chairman of the Midwest Bar Forum and both of whom are life benchers, have the requisite experience and capacity to deliver on their mandate in ensuring that the Body of Benchers brings sanity back to the judiciary and the legal profession. Their appoinment comes at a critical time when Nigerians are yearning for dividends of democracy by way of a fair and just justice delivery process.

I trust that the next one year will engender policies and reforms that will restore the lost confidence of many Nigerians in our legal system.
