GOODWILL MESSAGE FROM DR. PRINCE AZUBUIKE TO AREWA YOUNG LAWYERS FORUM ON THE OCCASION OF HER 2ND ANNUAL SUMMIT

It is with great joy that I write to felicitate with Arewa Young Lawyers on the occassion of her 2nd Annual Summit with the theme, *“Taking A Stand”*
The chosen theme is both timely and thought-provoking. It underscores the indispensable the fact that until Lawyers take a Stand, the legal profession will have difficulty in shaping a justice system that is responsive, efficient, equitable, and reflective of the aspirations of our society. As custodians of the rule of law, lawyers occupy a unique position in advancing reforms that strengthen democratic institutions, protect fundamental rights, and promote access to justice for all.

It is my earnest desire that this year’s Summit will inspire thoughts that will proffer concrete solutions to the challenges plaguing our nation and profession.
