A NEW CHAPTER FOR THE NIGERIAN BAR

I warmly congratulate the outgoing 32nd President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, and his wonderful Executive Committee on the successful completion of their tenure.

Your administration has left an indelible mark on the Nigerian Bar. In particular, the Remuneration Order stands out as a landmark achievement that has positively changed the lives and professional fortunes of many of us. For this, we remain deeply grateful.

As we welcome the 33rd President of the NBA, Mrs. Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, SAN, I am confident that the future of our Association is in capable hands.

Having personally interacted with her, I have seen firsthand the intelligence, courage and zeal behind her bold campaign promises. I am convinced that they are not mere words, but a genuine commitment to service and transformation.

I look forward to an NBA whose general publicity and public image will be the envy of the legal profession and beyond. I wish her and the new Executive Committee a highly successful tenure.

Congratulations, NBA! Forward ever.
